The differences between Limewire and Frostwire are in small things and cannot be summed up easily. First off, you can get Limewire in either of two versions; free and pro. The pro version has some better features that may improve its performance over the free version but you would need to pay in order to get it. basically Frostwire is a rehash of the Limewire pro source code. It has it's pluses and minuses. I personally would choose fw over lw free/pro anyday.

FrostWire, unlike LimeWire, will never offer a PRO version. The FrostWire project will always remain strictly non-profit without any bundled software, including advertisements, spyware, malware or any code outside the scope of the general network that can transmit private information. My frostwire is connecting as a leaf to 3 ultrapeers.
